These fridges, made at the Fisher & Paykel East Tamaki plant in Auckland, are being specifically tailored with strengthened shelves and adjusted airflow to ensure the milk is perfectly chilled for the children every day.
Daily Freight, part of the Mainfreight Group, is providing discounted freight rates for the transportation of milk and recycle bins throughout New Zealand. As part of this arrangement, Pacifica Shipping is providing discounted shipping to move containers of milk and recycle bins from Auckland to Christchurch.
SULO-Talbot is providing discounted recycling bins for use in all schools that participate in the programme. These bins, primarily made at SULO-Talbot’s East Tamaki plant in Auckland are made of up to 60 per cent recycled milk bottles.
Chatham Islands Shipping Ltd is providing free of charge, the transportation of milk packs to the Chatham Islands, and the collection of milk pack recycling from the Chatham Islands.
Freightlink Cartage Ltd is providing free of charge, the transportation of milk packs to Great Barrier Island, and the collection of milk pack recycling from Great Barrier Island.
